Print Our many readers will recall last fall that our RE@L TeacherCorner™ Todd had many helpful suggestions about making a good start to the 2019-2020 school year.

Click on Todd’s photo below to see those tips. They remain useful reminders.

Since then, many new challenges have faced K12 schools, from sinking test scores to sinking budget balances.

There’s unanimous agreement in our schools, especially our middle schools that something needs to be done, and soon, to stop vaping among our students. As our previous blogs have presented, failure to stop vaping is addictive and even lethal. Click here.

“Reading RE@L’s last blog on anti-vaping was really helpful. I had a chance to learn more about RE@L’s work towards finding an effective answer to vaping.

RE@L now has an innovative, comprehensive learning module to help teachers learn about the dangers of vaping.

More important, resources are provided to help their students quit vaping, or even better, never start!

Vaping is a serious problem at all levels, and we in K12 are way behind in our own education, including a lack of the teaching tools we need to effectively reach out and help our students, at all levels. Well, no longer!

RE@L has a new virtual, PortalGate™, full of teaching resources that we teachers are looking for to help our teaching and our students learning:

  • teacher kids class_Overviews
  • Lesson Plans
  • Instructional Guides
  • Video Tutorials
  • Related Resources
  • Student Activities
  • Assessments

These are helpful resources that we can use immediately in our classrooms, and then return for more resources, as needed.

Teachers can visit with other teachers on RE@L’s PortalGate, sharing questions and ideas.

Teachers spend so much time searching for the latest information, updated videos and other resources. We are constantly on the lookout for more interactive teaching tools that complement and help with student learning. Well, here’s RE@L’s new 1Up On Vaping™!

This revolutionary LearningProduct is a game-changing resource for us teachers to have access to. It’s a new RE@LResource, a place where we teachers can find more of what we need to be more effective in our teaching. That results in better learning for more of our students.

Our learning world is changing at a pace that requires teachers to stay current on the latest topics and health risks in our society.

Textbooks are fast becoming a tool of the past. Printed-only media are quickly outdated in a rapidly changing world. Our students need new access to our new learning products.

More teachers are relying on new, interactive curriculums and lessons that engage students in real, relevant learning. RE@L is bringing those powerful, new teaching/learning tools to classrooms just like mine. How about yours?

Here’s my recommendation to middle school teachers out there looking for an anti-vaping resource: You can find it at RE@L!”
